She Is Beauty

Happy Wednesday Ladies,

So I have really been having an eventful two weeks. I say that because I am such a home body…probably too much of one. But anywho, this past Saturday I attended the Vain Mag Beauty Bar event that was also a birthday celebration for my lovely friend Nicole Newsum…Happy Birthday again girly!! The event took place at W!NK Eco Beauty Bar in Brooklyn.

So that day I woke up, ran a few errands, and headed to WINK. After finding a parking space a block away, which I was super excited about, I entered the chic soiree. The room was buzzing with fun girly chatter when I walked in. After spending too much time trying to choose a color and roaming around chatting with a few ladies, it was time for my W!NK signature manicure. This is my second time getting a Mani at W!NK and I love, love, love the ambiance and the service. I felt like I was in a spa and not a nail salon. The color I chose was like a teal blue green color…can’t remember the name lol. But I was nervous because I thought it may drive me crazy after the second day but it is already Wednesday and not only do I still love it but I have actually gotten a few compliments from strangers. PS this color has taught me that a bold nail color can be a great conversation starter…almost like an amazing outfit or a great shoe. I may be treating myself to a pair of new shoes soon..I deserve it…I work hard LOL. Overall I had a great time. There were yummy hors d’oeuvres, amazing women to network with, and great gift bags.

PS. I got great news yesterday! I am just in a really happy place. I was happy before the news but it made me even happier. I have to unfortunately keep it on the hush hush but as soon as I can, I will spill the beans…
