That’s an excellent idea!! I never even thought of buying travel sizes! I would have just bought the regular sized bottle and left it to chance! lol This is definitely great advice! Can’t wait to do lunch!

Hey Darling,

I like the Renee Rouleau face moisturizer. It works well on my skin but you need to factor in a few things when figuring out which one to buy for your skin.
Would you consider your skin oily, dry,or combination?
Consider trying sample sizes or travel sizes of a certain product you want to try. This way you save money and you can try the product out before making a final decision…

Hey Big Sis!

You know, I have heard a similar tip before about brushing your lips with a toothbrush, but at times it could be a bit rough. The raw sugar is genius! And it leaves a nice sweet taste too - very kissable! (lol) I like to use the good ol’ fashioned Blistex because I love the tingly feeling I get after, and I also love to do this at night just before bed so that my body can do its magic while I rest. Then I wake up, apply moisturizer, and go!

Do you have any advice for an overall face moisturizing regimen? My face has been EXTRA dry this season, and even after I apply lotion, I still look sickly (lol). At first I was just trying an experiment of washing my face at night, and then going to sleep sans lotion because my body would produce natural oils at night and when I wake up, I don’t need to do anything! But now…my face is like a desert looking for a raindrop!! The corners around my nose have been feeling extra flaky and dry, and some spots near my eyebrows have been looking a little ashy (lol). I don’t like to use vaseline because my skin becomes EXTRA oily and shiny!! My skin has usually been moderately oily, but now it’s so dehydrated!! What should I do?

P.S. I also have really, really fine black dots on my cheeks under my eyes, and they’re starting to form on my nose. My boyfriend says I’m growing whiskers!! (lol) Are these blackheads, or mutated pores? Help me please! (lol)

Yes a good lip moisturizer is key. It is very important not to use petroleum jelly based products. Lip moisturizers with natural oils such as olive oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, etc are much better. I use ChapStick lip butter it is Great!

My lips feel great afterwards and yes they are less chapped. But it’s so important to apply a good lip moisturizer right afterwards.

ha ha ha “i add bling to everything.” lol…love it:) I have to admit that I am the worst when it comes to winter weather…shhhhh, I never apply lotion:( So lazy, but I know my body needs the mositure. It’s nothing more annoying than a set of dry lips:( This is another one added to the list of “must try”.

I need to try that. Do you find that it leaves your lips less dry and chapped? Do you need chapstick less after this?

I’m going to definitely have to dry this one! I think I’ll do my hands as well because they get extremely dry during the colder months, it’s so annoying. Also, I love that all you need is everyday household items which saves money!!!
