Girls Night Out

Ok so every now and then you need a girl’s night out! Seriously…if you work hard, you should play hard. I barely ever go out because I am always working on some project of mine but when I do it is usually for birthdays or special events.

This “special” outing was for my best friend Alison’s birthday. I love my group to death but things never go as planned and I love it that way. LOL
It all started with an organized evite to go to a nice restaurant in Harlem. Yes it was supposed to be a quiet evening of reminiscing, laughing, and talking about the future but it turned into a night of straight dancing (and taking pics) all night long.

As I was running errands with my roommate, first to kinkos and then to the display store we get a text from the birthday girl that all dinner plans are null and void and she would rather go to the Keri Hilson party. So because I had more time I stopped at my friend Troy Monaco’s (celeb publicist) birthday party first. I ran into some folks I knew and a good friend Shakara (from GetEmGirls) was providing the cupcakes for the event..she’s such a sweetie.

Anyways me and Mel (pic below) left Troy’s party to go meet the rest of the crew. After a little bit of drama at the door (list was closed) we finally got in and had a ball. Can I just tell you that I literally danced from the time I got there from the time I left. When we first arrived no one was dancing and we were the first ones on the floor without a care in the world. I am so glad that I have “real” friends that aren’t stuck up or caught up about who’s who and just love to have a good time. Keri Hilson looked amazing and gave a great performance towards the end of the night. She is definitely a natural beauty. I also ran into my husband Tyson. Why? Why does he have to be that fine? It should be against the law!
