She is beauty (Spring Eye Shadow)
The Bold and The Beautiful
Hey Ladies,
I have never been huge on heavy eye makeup but I think I want to make a few bold makeup statements this spring just because I never have. I guess I always felt like too much eye makeup was just that—too much! But after looking at some pics online I have changed my mind. It really just depends on how well it is applied, if the color compliments your tone, and if your outfit is not clashing. I would prefer to wear something chic and simple with bold colors. I feel like the bold shadow is like an accessory to your outfit…if done wrong it can be a hot mess. Because my favorite color is Aqua, I will do my first bold look with that color and maybe a little yellow.
Bold looks take work but look amazing afterwards….
Primer- Use a primer before you apply your shadow so that the color will stay vibrant longer. If you don’t have an actual primer you can also use a little foundation.
Liner- Use a liquid liner or pencil that is one tone deeper than the shadow color or in some cases use black. Line the top of your lids first. If you want a very dramatic eye then make sure you take the lines slightly up on each side or you can also line the top and bottom.
Shadow- It will depend on the style of the bold look you are going for but if you don’t want to use shadow just use the liner pencil to create your look.
Mascara-You should put a good amount of mascara on for the bold effect but make sure it doesn’t look clumpy.
xoxo,
Ally

Love bright colored shadows! Lately I have been rocking a mix of pink and yellow and I got a lot of complements.
