Hey Ladies,
I am a such a journalist because I always have a million questions about everything. I always want to know how something works or what something means especially if it is something that I use on a regular basis. So I wanted to share some info that I found with you lovely ladies.
So when I decided to go au naturel a few years ago I found that every time I would use a flat iron, my hair would frizz up within a few hours. Because I was working at a hair and beauty mag at the time companies would send us goodies. One day they sent Fusion Tools flat irons to the office. My life hasn’t been the same since LOL. This is the ONLY flat iron that I have found that keeps my hair straight until I wash it or until I dance like a wild child at a party lol.
From reading over all of the gazillion sites my understanding is that our hair has negative ions and positive ions (has a positive and negative charge) and when we brush our hair we remove some of the negative ones. In order to prevent frizz our hair needs both. So this ion technology emits the negative ones to neutralize and balance the hair again, which in turn makes it shiny and usually keeps it straight. When I started researching for this post I never thought that I would actually find out that having these ions come from our hair appliances could actually have health benefits too…who knew?
