She is Uplifting
Hey Fam,
So yesterday when I was reading my physics book on vibrations and sound and color etc it totally inspired this blog post and I thought that this pic by Joe McNally was perfect for this post because I love the lighting and think it is a beautiful depiction of beauty in motion.
I’m pretty sure that most people(including me) put these words and situations that cause these words in a negative category in life: disharmony, negativity, abandoned, afraid, aggravated, angry, annoyed, betrayed etc. We grow up being taught that these feelings or just “bad” situations are just that…bad.
Just a thought here…What if negative situations and the words used to describe them could be the catalyst to put you on a path where you are just extremely happy and feel filled with light and love. What if that was the point of having disharmonic situations and feelings?
Ok so although I personally believe that all situations are always perfect and in divine order even if they don’t feel good, this part in the book just really re-confirmed that and made me see it even more.
In the book it basically talks about the planets orbit around the sun. While they do move in a circle, the book said that every time they come back to their beginning point they are in a slightly different position in relation to other celestial objects…
“If this difference were not there, the orbit would stagnate-harmonize-motion would cease as would evolution and the whole system would become as naught. Many claim as their ideal the attainment of perfect harmony within. This is not a complete ideation as harmony without discord wouldn’t be anything real. In order for harmony to have any meaning it must have discord with which to contrast…Therefore a perfectly harmonized system ceases motion, evolution and progression-all of which adds up to what we term life”
Quote from The Physics of Love by Dale Pond
So what I take from that, is that the harmony and disharmony are balanced perfection and set in place that way so that it forces movement and growth and prevents stagnation. It really put some things into perspective for me. Think about it what happens when people become stagnant at a job, sometimes they get fired so that they can have movement and go on hopefully to something better. The experience of being fired feels very dis-harmonic and sad in the moment but it is absolutely necessary for progression. Or if your boyfriend always does little things that really shows that he doesn’t deserve you but you ignore them for comfort and then something really big and “bad” happens and you decide to break up with him. The “bad” thing forces you to have movement and leave a situation with one man only to get you to the next best thing.
Anyways just wanted to share because I thought this positive perspective on “negative” things was brilliant.
Have a blessed weekend
Ally
