I am REALLY excited about my new jewelry line so I wanted to share one of the necklaces that I have been working on.
Happy Friday Fam,
So I guess my post from last Friday about finding the beauty in “negative” situations was perfect timing because who knew a few days later that I would be needing that advice LOL.
A few days ago I found out some disappointing news and in addition to that, the same night my Mac’s screen wouldn’t turn on and for a writer that is really bad. It prevented me from being able to do my beauty post Wednesday which I was really excited about and from being able to do any other work. So I took my own advice and even though 80 percent of my work is done on my computer, I didn’t freak out. I figured maybe this was a sign that I either need to slow down and have a few relaxing days or that I need to learn how to back up my files more often or maybe both. I was a little annoyed but refused to let it get the best of me. I decided to just call apple in the morning and take my computer in. The next day when I was sitting there at the apple counter and the guy was explaining the problem the next thing I heard was 700.00 and I thought to myself “OMG!” and started slowly rubbing my temples. And the guy said “wait you didn’t let me finish, although you aren’t under warranty you qualify for something that allows you to get it fixed for free” I was ecstatic and even though not having my laptop for like five days with all of my files is inconvenient I feel so blessed that it is free and that my loving supportive beau has a mac that I can use until I get it back, everything always works itself out.
I am in a transitional place right now. I am job hunting, trying to make time to get ready to launch my spring jewelry line, and balancing out my new relationship…the life of a woman lol, we have to do it all
