She is Beauty: The Nail Files

So on Monday I was telling you about my She-blogs new monthly feature called The Nail Files. Here is the first one…I loved what she did with my nails!!!
Steps From Adrienne Blanks:
1. I prepped the nail by using a base coat so that the polish will adhere to the nail better. Using a base coat helps to prevent premature chipping so that color on the nail will last longer.
2. Next, I primed the nail with a matte white polish so that the colors “pop” on the nail.
3. Ally chose magenta, blue, and a champagne colored lacquer. I started out with the magenta, followed with the blue and then the champagne color repeating the pattern all the way up the nail. To give the colors the extra vibrant look, I used a white striper to line each color. I used a shiny top coat to seal in the design, which protects the color from premature chipping as well.
4. To dry the nails, I sprayed a nail enamel quick dry on each hand. However, if you do not have a spray quick dry, you can run your hands under cold water after your polish has dried a little and this helps to dry the polish faster.
