Was Orwell Proper?
George Orwell's book 1984 depicts a futuristic contemporary society in the city of London located in the region of Oceania during the year 1984. In his book, Orwell's purpose is to warn the audience against the dangers of his believed modern time by delivering Winston Smith's rebellion against the Republic of Oceania, as well as the repercussions he faces throughout the novel. In his book Orwell wanted to illustrate a democratic government that turned totalitarian, the Republic of Oceania. Orwell's forecasts are based on the communist authorities developing in Russia throughout the late 1940's. His main idea was to present to persons how the contemporary society around them can easily control all their reality. Orwell is some distance off from his prediction in 1984 when compared to today. He predicted through his book that the federal government would spy on the people, adjust their minds, certainly not tell the facts, and control their lives.
In fact , the United States authorities is constantly spying on their citizens through a authorities organization called the D. S. A., meaning the National Secureness Association.
