Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption (Stephen King)
After I read the novella Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King and see the movie The Shawshank Redemption, depending on the publication, I have to denote some dissimilarities and commonalities. In general film production company is very faithful to the publication but I really believe that the most important aspects are as stick to. For example , they may be similar inside the time line. In the movie we could observe with clarity the 40's environment, old style car, moccasins of Andy and his customized is related at that time. Even though in the movie no day appears at first we can infer the time, afterwards Red talks the date in what Andy arrives towards the prison. Inside the novella the date is usually stated in the beginning " When Andy reached Shawshank in 1948, having been thirty years old…. _” (King 5). _ Another likeness is the discussion in the trial. Both are much the same, for example , available we can browse " Although this revenge had been of any much chillier type. Consider! the DE UMA said with the jury. 4 and four! Several for him and four pertaining to her…_” (King 7). _In the movie the lawyer uses the same words and phrases of the storia when details that Andy reload the revolver pertaining to killing his wife fantastic lover. Obviously the discussion is set from the novella to the film highlighting the most important aspects in the trial. Another match is when Andy meets Crimson in the jail yard. Equally, the movie as well as the novella, shows the dialogue between Andy and Crimson, it uses almost the same words _" We _understand that you are currently a man whom knows how to receive things. ” " I agree with that I was able to identify certain items from time to time. ” (King 16). Of course we can appreciate the imaginative way to put in the movie the essence with the novella. Despite the fact that in the video the conversation is simpler in the book is full...
