" Sex, medicines, and physical violence on American Television”
Sex, medications, and assault on American Television send out, more often than not, adverse messages. This projects to the children it is acceptable and glorified to behave this way. It is not appropriate when seemingly every time you start the television these acts or perhaps portrayals of such acts are occurring. Each of our youth's minds are condensed with this and it is often detrimental to the perceptions and misconceptions of the children.
I have a problem with sex, drugs, and violence. I really believe sex, drugs, and assault are a risk to culture. The wrong use of them possess shackled, destroyed, and messed up many a life. It can be our obligation as adults to remain careful in modeling good behavior and decision making in front of our kids. I think there exists too much aired on public television. This makes it a constant dash on the arena of decency and indecency.
Sex, medications, and physical violence are worldwide. Business, Marketing and Entertainment know that it offers, so the likelihood of it going away in their respective mediums can be nil. When monitoring the channels and viewing different types of our children, and having wide open discussion with them when these images and subject matter matters happen to be breeched, the probability of them having such a profound unfavorable influence to them is considerably diminished. Once again we must not grow weary and weak when with regards to this because sex, drugs, and physical violence on American television, although inappropriate, will never go away.
