Many people are usually conflicted between two decisions, whether or not to do it. The factors t their making decisions or actions are mindful and subconscious. These mindful and subconscious decision producers are called the superego, ego, and id. The idea of the superego, ego, identification, and how they will affect someone's behavior is displayed in Freud's writing, " The Dissection of the Psychical Personality” plus the play Hamlet by Shakespeare. " Hamlet” is a enjoy that targets a objective that needs to be achieved by Hamlet. Hamlet's father advices Hamlet to kill his uncle Claudius as an act of revenge for killing him. One of the main personas that are troubled by his mind in the perform " Hamlet” is Hamlet. The superego, ego, and id every play a role in Hamlet's actions and intend to killing his uncle. Hamlet has many opportunities to execute his dad's goal but this individual does not as a result of his psyche. The superego and ego changes Hamlet's mindset and delays his mission of kill his uncle, while his identity urges him to murder his dad.
Hamlet's ego and superego stop him from killing his uncle when he heard bout his uncle's wrong work. The ghost, which is a representation of Hamlet's dad spirit, tells Hamlet that Claudius was the individual who killed him and ask him to seek revenge on Claudius by getting rid of him (Shakespeare, 51-57). Therefore since the id is " striving to get about the satisfaction of the instinctual demands subject to the observance with the pleasure principle” (Freud, 48), Hamlet includes a strong prefer to avenge his father by simply killing his uncle. Nevertheless , instead of instantly taking action, he does take time to think about what has just occurred. The fact that he did not take a sword and homicide his dad is a screen of his ego.
