There is always more than one way to go regarding solving a problem. The closing assertions of Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird and another attorney in A Lesson before Dying differ people as to how they go about fighting for the same purpose: the acquittal of their defendants. In the end, Atticus Finch's discussion is, objectively, more influential. Unlike the other attorney, Atticus draws on logic to aid his defendant's position, inserting him because an equal of the jury, and asking the jury, most of all, to do their very own duty.
